The Alkaline Earth

The Alkaline Earth is a story about being lost, about the struggle for freedom and control along with the necessity of relying on others.

Adolede Leveque finds herself in an unfamiliar castle, unable to speak or remember anything from before she woke up. Expected to train in the use of magic under the princess who kidnapped her and blocked out her memories, Adolede teams up with two of the other servants in the hopes that, together, they can discover where she came from, why she’s there, and how she can get back out. But her past can only make things more complicated, and there’s a big world outside of the mountains. Freedom won’t come easily.

There will be no nudity or sexual themes, and no swearing. However, there will be some potentially upsetting content, either in discussion or depiction, including:

• Alcohol and tobacco use
• Unreality/surrealism
• Body horror
• Violence, blood
• Abuse and neglect
• Depression, self harm, and suicide
• Other deaths
